I love how God can work through dreams.
Anyways, I woke up today knowing that I had a whole bunch of random combinations of dreams, but couldn’t really recall any of it, until like 10 minutes ago (440PM). I wanted to change my facebook status with a quote and ended up googling Mother Teresa quotes. ( You guys should google them too. Theyre soo ‘ahhh’ ) So I first came across this quote:
“Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.”
I was like “I CAN RELATE TO THAT!” or can I not? I did not recall ever giving homeless people money or food, but I did recall that I was asked to give money to these group of homeless people in my dream. A group of people donated some money to them and the homeless guys said that they wouldn’t use it on drugs or alcohol. But I was like “You cant trust them, they most likely would use the money on those kinds of things. Though let’s get them food or something.” & I ended up getting the homeless guys food instead.
So that was the first part. Then I came across to this quote:
Everytime you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.
This second quote was like “WAHBAM!” I had a picture in my head that I was smiling to a bunch of strangers. Which was part of my dream last night. I was running or walking around some area, maybe a park or just somewhere with lots of people around. Don’t know why, but I started smiling, waving and saying ‘Hi’ to people that I was passing by. Their faces lightened up and smiled back. It made me feel good.
& so the question is what and why? I kept reading the quotes and just right under that second quote up there, were my answers.
Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love.
We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.
I guess what I can take from this is to just do simple acts of love and it can make a difference.
